RH Screencap ramblings, 1x01

lonesparkI am going through all the RH screencaps at Hoodwinked and saving lots for...reasons...
Random thoughts on 1x01:
I love so many of the background folks, especially the women. I want to know their stories. (Alternately, tell their stories.) Plus the costumes look nice in this ep, mostly.
Speaking of background extra types: holy frak are they white. Probably anachronistically so, although this isn't set in Rome or even a relatively big city, and it's not like I'd really know. But it makes the few actors of color they did cast stand out in a way that seems less than helpful.
Several shots of Guy and Robin standing shoulder to shoulder on the castle steps. It's a good look, and possibly fic-inspiring. Really, if S3 canon tells us they know each other, they could very well hash out old grievances and find common ground or something. Even if it fell apart again over Vaisey (and Marian...I guess...if we have to do that...) it would still be interesting/fun. (And now they are eye-f***ing on the steps. Get a room/appropriate fanfic, guys.)
I don't really remember what happens in these early eps I've only seen once. It could be very fun to come up with alternate dialogue and plots.
Guy looks so. damn. pretty in his reaction shots during Robin's Crowning Moment of Outlaw. And kinda...Thorin-y? What do I even mean by that? Kinda pensive and care-worn, with a touch of brooding resentment? One thing's for sure: Battle-Guy and Battle-Thorin are nothing alike. Not least because Guy has never done a gore-dripping toothpaste commercial.
Hairpin of Dooooom! How, exactly, does Marian think she will have plausible deniability if anyone saw that? "Ooops, I just slipped and impaled someone across the room with a beauty accessory! Just a ditzy leper, nothing to see here!"
