And now Robin Hood is sad because he doesn't get to have ALL THE WOMEN. Just ALMOST ALL OF THE WOMEN.

I don't really get Marian; I would think her forward-planning work-within-the-system ideas would lead to accepting Guy's suit early on in the process, or at least marrying someone else to be respectable...not that I'm clear on who else is available.

I do not get why "necklace stolen from a peasant" equals "good courting gift." Guy is terrible at EVERYTHING. (Except smirking.) (And entertaining at parties. GET IN MY CRACK AU NOW.)

I don't really know crap about costumes, yet the costuming in this show manages to make my brain hurt.

And Marian/Djaq might be a thing I would like.

Re this episode's "necklace stolen from a peasant as a courting gift" sub-plot: Because "necklace stolen from a peasant" is pretty and Guy is, at this point, still wearing his Marian-is-perfect-and-innocent-and-so-pretty blinders (and also his I CAN FUCK ROBIN OVER BY TAKING HIS GIRL AWAY FROM HIM ones), and he thinks Marian will like a pretty necklace, so he's not exactly thinking clearly about what makes a "good courting gift".
