 I like Frozen more than Tangled, even tho I have a ton of criticisms of it. There's more than one girl, the central relationship isn't a heteronormative romance, and it still deals with overcoming self-doubt and familial abuse/neglect to some degree.

 

The female friendship angle is one of the things I like about The Princess and The Frog... 

Moana tho.
