Robin Hood

lonesparkI have things to do today that are more important than liveblogging Robin Hood...and I was doing them, but then Djaq showed up and made the whole thing like 800 times more awesome.
Robin Hood is alright, but the Night Watchman is an awesome cool superhero with a smaller ego.
WTF Guy, how can you be so awkward about EVERYTHING?
Basically how I want this thing to go is Robin/Djaq (and Djaq/Will, and Robin/Much and Robin/everybody since that is obviously how he rolls), and Marian becomes the Sheriff and keeps Guy naked in a closet and brings him out for parties.
Jeeez, Marian is such a badass. (I said that twice in this episode alone.)
Robin's bow is made out of adamantium, right? That might almost make its indestructibility plausible.

Because she is just. that. awesome. And I wouldn't mind a teleporting Marian. Or telekinetic? Who says mutants can't also have secret identities? Awwww, and Robin and Guy could be the Frenemy Leaders Closer than Brothers with a Tragic Past, and Extremely Slashy Flashbacks, right?
Most of my RH musings are on my LJ and I need to mirror them but I keep forgetting.

Date: 2013-07-02 03:22 am (UTC)Oh, yeah, forgot about the Izzy as a shapeshifter possiblity. And yes, it is basically something she can already do in canon. She is. just. that. awesome. Teleporting could work well for Marian or telekninesis too.. but I love the idea of a teleporting Marian bc that would give the Nightwatchman a really cool means of escape and a way to hide the costume better than that secret room Maz had it stashed away inside in S1 canon. he could so use a cache in the woods to hide it and avoid that horrid scene in which she had to do a super quick-change when Guy shows up just after she gets in from doing Nightwatchman stuff. Telekinetic could work too, but I'm rather drawn to a Teleporter!Marian! Think Nightcrawler but maybe minus the 'demonic' appearance, the loud 'bamf' sound and the sulphur and brimtone scent (these two are more described/mentioned than really gotten across since his introduction in the comics, while the sound is definitely experienced in the movies and the television shows on which he appears).
EXACTLY! Mutants can DEFINITELY have secret identities. And yes, Robin and Guy are totally the Frenemy Leaders Closer than Brothers with a Tragic Past and Extremely Slashy Flashbacks. Heck, this relationship so could fix that awful Flashback episode though which we were introduced to Archer. So basically they're the Prof X. and Magneto of this verse.. only with different powers, of course. Maybe Robs can't miss what he aims at or something, idk.. Vaisey, I think, is able to maniplute people, maybe. Guy, I'm still working on. LJ, i think, is the wild man with claws or something like that, ala Wolverine...
Hmm, maybe I could fill my "Au:fusion" square with this fic or my "Free Space" for my Round Two Trope Bingo Card. What do you think?
